Let's shock that heel pain!

Happy summer to all!

This season brings with it sunny days and the great outdoors, but it can also be spoiled by the all-too-common foot woe: heel pain!

Plantar fasciopathy refers to an overuse condition of the plantar fascia (soft tissue band) at its attachment site to the heel bone, and is a leading cause of plantar heel pain. It drags you down at the end of the day, and greets you right in the morning. This common foot problem has a bad habit of becoming chronic (pain present for more than 6 months), which makes it more difficult to treat with time.

Fortunately, the Oakville Foot Clinic is proud to introduce a solution that is clinically proven to help you get rid of your pain!

The Swiss DolorClast machine has been successfully used in our office since February 2018. That is all well and good but...what is it and how does it work? The video below provides a quick overview into the science behind and applications of radial shockwave therapy :

How do you know if this treatment is right for you?

  • Other treatments have failed to give you pain relief

  • Pain is persistent for over 3-6 months

FUN FACT: This is the only Shock Wave device on the market with FDA approval for plantar fasciopathy

If you think this may be right for you, give us a shout via email or call us at: 905-844-0680

Thanks for reading this post and remember, feet are the foundation to a happy life.
